  Originally intended to stop for a quick drink at Big Al's, a separate bar also located within the Giovanni's complex. Unfortunately, there was a band performing there with sound levels that were beyond deafening (separate review). As a result, decided to move over to Alchemy. I sat at the bar directly in front of the bartender's mixing station. Over the next twenty minutes I observed numerous cocktails being prepared in front of me. For a bar which presents itself as a top tier location, their staff totally miss the mark. I was appalled by the number of drinks that were cross-contaminated by the bartenders failing to rinse their mix glasses, shakers & stir spoons. I feel for the gentleman who ordered the Bulleit Manhattan, which I am sure had plenty of vodka & tequila overtones.
